Sonic Teenagers is a look book displaying the clothing of Maxwell Bresler and the photography of A.J. Incammicia.
Sonic Teenagers is inspired by the idea of ostracized youth subculture. These youth are looked down upon for exploring individuality, and pushing images and ideals that they believe in. This ostracized group of people creates an aesthetic that is very influential, and is still reflected in modern day style. Groups like the hippies of the 60’s and 70’s, and the punks of the mid 70’s and 80’s are examples of this idea.
The Sonic Teenagers are the ostracized subculture of an alternate future. They wear unique, colorful clothing, that is used to create dramatic silhouettes. The name “Sonic Teenagers” is derived from the fast paced electronic music that this youth group listens to. The “Sonic Teenager” look book helps visualize what these teens would have looked like, and acted.
